[Feelings when apologizing]

"Until now, I have made many wishes to the gods, but I have never given any thanks.

Although it was something we didn't notice, we are very sorry. We deeply apologize."

[Resolved prayer to God]

(This is held every day for 21 days in front of the local shrine)

Two bows, two claps

"I'm ____ (name) from ____ (address)."

"Thank you so much for always protecting this place."

"From now on, I would like to apologize for the dissolution of the divine prayer to all generations of my ancestors, from the founder of the ○○ family to myself, their descendants, and I ask for your forgiveness."

Worship

Announce the details of your apology in front of the shrine (or on the side)

Worship

"I would like to apologize for all the disrespectful, irreverent, and immoral sins committed against the laws of heaven that have been committed since the founder of the ○○○○ family, down to my descendants, and I ask for your forgiveness."

Worship

Worship

"Thank you for allowing me to apologize for the dissolution of the divine prayers that have been made by my ancestors since the founder of the ○○○ family, and that have continued through generations of my ancestors to me, their descendants."

The guardian deity is like a parent

The ujigami is a god of the land who is a parent to you more than your parents. For example, if you tell the ujigami that you are going to a certain shrine on a certain date, the ujigami will first introduce you to the shrine. If you don't tell them, they won't accept your request.

Let's go and pay our respects to the local deity on the 1st and 15th of every month.

If you get into a fight (polluting the land), go together with the other party to apologize to the local deity.
