Day 1
1. Hida Shrine (斐太神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine): "I have been awaiting your arrival. We are honored to fulfill your presence here.
To grasp the meaning of these words: in the past, people did not need such explanations, for everyone knew that Kami-sama existed. Do you understand? They knew that their very existence was granted by the presence of the Divine.
Gradually, that changed. Yet even during times of conflict, they still recognized the existence of Kami-sama. Therefore, before a battle—no matter how many days it took—they would visit the Grand Shrine, bow their heads in prostration, and offer greetings, stating their purpose for entering into conflict. Likewise, once it ended, they would return to the Divine to report their deeds, regardless of the sins they had committed.
How is it now? People have forgotten even the existence of Kami-sama. When cliffs crumble, mountains collapse, or storms strike, does anyone speak of it as the wrath of the Divine? Even after the great turmoil of the nuclear accident, the presence of Kami-sama never entered the conversation. This is the reality of the present world.
We knew all along that it would come to this. That is why we established this path specifically for this era. Know this truth: whatever may happen, everything you do lies within the palm of Kami-sama’s hand. Remember it well. No matter how you try to deceive, know that the response will always return to you based on the truth of that deception.
This is why we begin with the act of expressing remorse. How greatly those who do not even know how to atone shall suffer. Remember this: if one cannot learn, one is destined to suffer. One is destined to wander—especially those who have forgotten the Divine. They will likely never even recall our presence.
The 'spiritual journey' (gyou) is the process of reclaiming these lost truths. Thus, you express remorse, and again remorse, and again remorse—bowing your heads in that way. It is of vital importance how deeply the awakened ancestors and spirit-beings express their remorse from their souls.
However, this form exists only for now. It will surely disappear in time. Bow your heads while you still can. Learn what you can. Value your spiritual education. There is nothing more important. Those who cannot learn are destined to wander. I tell you, even among your companions, many are wandering. Therefore, be sincere. Now, begin."
Kami-sama (Response): "Thank you. I have witnessed your spiritual intention. I shall receive only that which is true. Guided by that, I have also seen the vision of the future. I shall joyfully fulfill this sacred role. As long as the Divine moves toward creating a planet centered on compassionate intent for others, I shall move toward that as well. Many wonderful beings still remain dormant. I shall discover them and bring them forth. We shall continue to participate in this spiritual journey, and we humbly ask for your continued guidance and support."
2. Kamo Shrine (加茂神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine): "Thank you. I have been awaiting your arrival. I am filled with gratitude that you have entered this land. How far those who wander here may advance—I wish to receive your spiritual intention. We humbly ask for your continued presence."
Kami-sama (Response): "Thank you. I have witnessed your inner resolve. In response to that resolve, there are many who can be carried forward. I am deeply pleased. The deities gathered here have also aligned their vision with yours. As we carry them forward, we shall participate in this spiritual journey from this moment on and always bring those who are ready. We humbly ask for your continued support."
3. Zuisen-ji Temple (瑞泉寺)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion): "I have been awaiting your arrival. Thank you for traveling to the very foot of this sacred place.
Indeed. We are able to see everything. We hold the sacred role that allows us to do so. That is the difference between us. This is why it is of paramount importance for humans to learn.
Listen well. From my perspective, all is visible. Knowing all positions and circumstances, I am able to determine the best course of action. You are different, are you not? That is why you must engage in spiritual education. Ensure that you receive the correct learning and the correct teachings. Do not simply listen to whatever sounds pleasant. Judging something as 'good' is merely a human perspective. That is not it. It is about hearing the words of Kami-sama and perceiving the compassionate intent of Kannon-sama. Do you understand?
Too many people are incapable of making this distinction. It is not enough to simply listen to many 'pleasant stories.' Do not forget: hear only what is true, and devote yourself solely to putting it into practice. Now, begin your spiritual duty."
Kami-sama (Response): "Thank you. You have shown me a magnificent spiritual intention. I am truly delighted. In alignment with that, I shall bring forth those who are worthy. There are still many. Let us choose them. I shall bring those who have reached the appropriate state. From this moment on, I look forward to participating in every spiritual journey and bringing them forth. We humbly ask for your continued guidance."
4. Kokubun-ji Temple (国分寺)
Nyorai-sama (the Divine Buddha):
To put it simply: if there were an infant before you, would you ignore them? It is the same. We look upon those who are the weakest and the purest. From my position, everything is visible. I see within that context. You have forgotten this. One should care for the infant most of all. Yet, why is it that you have come to look only upward? This is the mistake. You should be able to understand how incorrectly you are living, even from this one point alone. There is no need for many words. When there are many people, whom does one look at first? It is the infant. Never forget that perspective. It is because you forget this in your daily life that you commit errors. To elevate oneself means that one can always learn from those who are by one's side. Though, this is impossible if one lacks the perspective to learn. Now, begin.
Nyorai-sama (the Divine Buddha):
Always remember: a person can act rightly anywhere. Keep this in mind. There is no such thing as a "special place." If you possess the perspective to live rightly, you can become so anywhere. However, you yourselves lack that perspective. That is why these teachings exist. Receive these teachings with humility. From the moment you receive them, do so with that perspective. If you do, you will become a little better. It still seems difficult for you, does it not? You have worked hard. I shall gladly fulfill my sacred role. There are exalted ancestors here. I am overjoyed beyond measure. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
5. Gochi Hakusan Shrine (五智白山神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Time is a precious thing, is it not? Human time is a wonderful time. In the world after death, one cannot make choices or do anything at all. There is no one even to be angry with. There is only oneself. The lower one’s state is, the more this is true. One must place oneself in the most hideous of places. Rid yourself of a hideous heart. Otherwise, you will go to the most hideous place—that which exists within yourself. That is why the time you have while possessing a physical body is the easiest. No matter how painful it may be, it is the easiest time you will have. Never forget this. That is precisely why one must learn the correct teachings. Keep this in mind. Now, begin.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. Everything is a teaching. Correct teachings change a person. I entrust this to you. We are already prepared to move alongside you; so many Kami-sama and Kannon-sama have arrived here. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I am so overjoyed that I have gathered this many. Behold. (Response: Yes. What a great number. The light is different, isn't it?) Indeed. Thanks to your actions in the physical world, we are still able to lead them. I am deeply pleased. Now, we humbly ask you to proceed.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Good work. O departed spirits, listen well. I shall grant you the one and only chance you will ever have. From this moment, this person from the physical world shall guide you. You must follow only that direction. Is that understood? Then, we humbly ask you to proceed.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall joyfully fulfill this sacred role. I shall lead every soul gathered here. Everyone, come this way.
6. Kasugayama Shrine (春日山神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
You have worked hard. I have been awaiting your arrival. Please fulfill your sacred role. We shall move to another location; please proceed.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
In the world of the Divine, all things are connected. We are always as one. (Response: Yes.) Each deity observes the movements of others who are fulfilling their roles, and we bow our heads to one another in respect. We spend our existence in mutual gratitude. If the world of humans were also like this, there would be no problems. Now, please fulfill your sacred role.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. Indeed. There is a profound meaning in the act of bowing one's head. It is precisely because one can have heartfelt consideration for another that one is able to bow. I ask you of the physical world: For the remaining time today, with what perspective and for what reason will you be bowing your heads? Let each person answer with their inner resolve. Though, I already know the answers. What is the significance of your bowing? It is not for yourself alone. It is because your compassionate intent has grown great that you bow your heads to others. If there is no compassionate intent, one will not bow—not if it is only for oneself. I shall gladly fulfill this sacred role. It is a matter of great importance for connecting to the future. There are still many exalted ancestors here. I shall choose them and carry them forward. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
7. Rinsen-ji Temple (林泉寺)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. Have you ever considered the difference between offering greetings at the main hall and doing so elsewhere? The spiritual intention remains the same at all times. However, for the ancestors, there is a powerful sentiment in being able to offer greetings specifically at the main hall. It amplifies their soulful yearning of having finally reached this sacred place. In the physical world, the human perspective always lingers—the pure desire to offer greetings as closely as possible. This is the difference. Based on this, it means the yearning of the departed spirits is immense. That is how deeply they wish to bow their heads. To be at the very front—this holds great significance. To lead the way in bowing one’s head signifies how much meaning there is in that act of atonement. How joyful this is, O descendants of the physical world. To those of you who can bow your heads together with them, I shall receive your spiritual intention. Please proceed.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. I can only describe your spiritual intention as magnificent. Even as an intention held by those in the physical world, it is truly wonderful. To see the people of the physical world atoning together with the departed spirits, and to see those in the physical world embracing the feelings of those spirits—it is a source of great joy. I shall gladly fulfill this sacred role. I shall choose and lead those who are worthy of this devotion. We shall move forward together from this moment on. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
8. Hakusan Shrine (白山神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you for stepping into the foot of this sacred ground. Do you understand how many years we have awaited this spiritual journey? We have been waiting here, holding onto hope. It is likely beyond your imagination, is it not? We have waited for over two thousand years. Among us, there are those who have waited for nearly four thousand years. Do you understand? Do you understand what it means to wait for such a length of time? Even if we wish to elevate the spirits, we cannot do so on our own. Though it is our sacred role, it is painful. We are unable to do anything. Even for the Divine, without the heartfelt consideration of those in the physical world, we cannot act. Everything exists within the sacred role. Within that role, the physical world exists, and it is precisely because your spiritual intention is present that the role can be fulfilled. It is a noble duty, one for which we would wait thousands of years. I am overjoyed today. Please begin.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I listened to your words with a heart full of joy. Naturally, we shall also fulfill our sacred roles. Already, the deities have brought a vast number of departed spirits, and the Kannon-sama have brought even more. We humbly ask for your guidance for them.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I have chosen these souls. Behold.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Good work. O departed spirits, how fortunate you are. I shall now grant you your chance. This person from the physical world shall guide you. You must follow only that direction. Is that understood? Please proceed.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I shall lead every one of these souls. Everyone, come this way. Please, proceed.
9. Akiba Shrine (秋葉神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Such trivial matters, are they not? They are trivial, yet I suppose it is precisely that trivial level which people understand best. Those of a high station possess a high perspective; they do not lay bare their emotions. It is simply that those at a certain level act according to that level. One’s spiritual level always dictates one's conduct. Those of a high level, even if they feel emotion, are able to speak while maintaining composure. Those of a low level express it exactly as it is, without restraint. One’s position does not change easily. Because there is a fixed position, one’s actions are predictable. It is immediately clear what they will do. All who are here hold their own position, by their own making. They judged for themselves and acted for themselves to be there. No one else can change that. One can only make the effort to change oneself. Even with such profound teachings, whether or not they can be put into practice depends entirely on the individual. Those who will not change, simply will not change. Those who are incapable remain so. Yet, those destined to grow will live in a way that fosters growth, even if left alone. That is what it means to have a spiritual level. One’s spiritual level is of such vital importance. And that, too, is a reflection of oneself. There is no need to lower the conversation to match those of a low level. Though, words that pull those from a low level upward are meaningful. You have worked hard. Now, begin.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I am pleased that you have come. Furthermore, I am even more delighted that you offer such spiritual intention in this way. And it brings me even greater joy that the departed spirits are given this chance. It is truly a wonderful thing. However, the time in the physical world is limited. I thank you for coming despite those constraints. I shall continue to gladly fulfill my sacred role. I shall continue to discover those who are worthy and lead them forward. I shall convey this spiritual intention to all the deities. The cooperation among the Divine has already begun. Many deities are arriving from beyond this planet. What kind of planet will this planet Earth become? We ourselves are learning and elevating our intent as the Divine. Please, ensure that the vision of the future and the spiritual framework you have created are thoroughly prepared for practice. It appears they are nearly complete. I have been watching. I shall continue to count on you. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
10. Nunagawahime Shrine (奴奈川姫神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
I have been waiting with a heart full of joy.
To have you step into the foot of this sacred ground, to have you understand the significance of this land, and to see how deeply you cherish it—I am filled with nothing but gratitude.
Furthermore, for those of us fulfilling our sacred roles, we understand exactly how vital it is for you to visit us in this way.
We are fully aware of its importance.
That is why so many deities have arrived and have been awaiting your presence.
This is a momentous duty; after this, you likely will not enter this land again.
Please, fulfill your sacred role.
We humbly ask this of you.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
I have been able to receive your spiritual intention anew.
How much value this holds, and how much joy it brings us—it is beyond measure.
Thanks to you, I shall take up my sacred role once again.
I shall continue to choose those who are worthy.
Selecting those of an even higher state is essential for connecting to the future.
We shall move forward together.
We humbly ask for your even greater guidance and support from this moment on.
Thank you.
11. Amatsu Shrine (天津神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
On our part, we have been very much looking forward to this. Once again, I am delighted that you have come. Furthermore, a tremendous number of deities have arrived, and the Kannon-sama have also come. We humbly ask for your continued presence.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
You have worked hard. This shall be the final time in the world of humans. This marks the moment when this planet truly lives. Listen well. Life and death are one and the same. Because there is death, there is new life. Because there is life, there is death. They are the same. However, what differs is how one lives and what kind of world of death one welcomes. That is why learning is indispensable. All is one. It is a magnificent thing. Fulfill your sacred role with resolve to welcome a new era. You have worked hard.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. How much spiritual intention I have received from you. Once again, I am filled with immense joy. The many deities and Kannon-sama who are already prepared have arrived. We humbly ask for your guidance.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I have taken up my sacred role. I wish for all these souls to be guided. We humbly ask for your support.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Good work. We have spent a wonderful time together. Many departed spirits have thus received memorial services (kuyou). First, you should guide these souls.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I shall guide every one of these souls. Everyone, come this way.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
I thank you as well; good work on your sacred role. There is still tomorrow and the day after. We shall move together and fulfill our roles together. And consider this environment—with what profound sentiment the deities and Kannon-sama have prepared this. I am filled with joy. Let us both continue to fulfill our roles. Rest and tend to yourselves today. Thank you.
Day 2
1. Ukawa Shrine (鵜川神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
I have received your greetings. Is this your morning assembly? Good morning. I see through the movements of the Divine that you have entered this land, that you are beginning your journey from here, that you have looked upon this place from ancient times, and that you are drawing a vision for the future. And I see those of you, the many who are here prostrating yourselves. By observing you, the future becomes visible. Do you understand? The framework and the flow move in a predetermined direction. They move only toward the righteous direction. The Divine grants permission. Should you move in an unrighteous direction, you will invariably receive the consequences yourself. Even when told the same thing countless times, you are unable to live in accordance with it. The depths of your hearts (hara no naka). Why is this? You hear the words of the Divine this much, you study with all your might, and you participate in this spiritual journey—there are no other people in this world who hear the words of the Divine more than you do. And yet, why can you not rectify yourselves? Why can you not unify your inner heart, your spoken words, and your actual deeds? You are cluttered with trivial matters. It is hideous. It is understood in an instant. In the world of the Divine, we see everything. Remember this. I can see and understand in an instant. Abandon the trivialities, the inner heart, and the hideousness within. Otherwise, you can never return to the spirit realm. Looking into your hearts, it will take time. Consider how much suffering you will have to endure then. Do you understand how long it has been since these prostrating spirit-beings last bowed their heads? You have heard, have you not? Even after a thousand years, they are not forgiven. It is too hideous. Reflect upon yourselves. Since this is the start, I have spoken these words. Precisely because it is the start of the morning, try to spend your day with that tension. There is no such thing as being unable to sleep. Spend your day while maintaining that tension. Now, begin.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I am well aware that there is a vast difference in the existence and the spiritual level of each person. The people of this current era are beyond reason. That is precisely why I observe those who have shown us the vision of the future and have moved the Divine, as well as those who follow them. Everything is visible to me. Since we shall move in that direction, I shall guide those who still remain—those capable of standing at the forefront within the cycle of reincarnation (rinne tenshou) in the future. Therefore, I shall participate in the spiritual journey (gyou) from this moment on, and I shall choose such individuals and lead them forward. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
2. Myoko-ji Temple (妙光寺)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. I have been awaiting your arrival. It is a noble role, a magnificent sacred role. I desire that this role shall proceed in a direction that connects to the future, together with those who are prostrating themselves. Now, please move forward.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I have been receiving your spiritual intention from the very moment you arrived. I am well aware of how much significance your visit holds. I perceive your intent in an instant. Just by your entering this sacred place, I have received your spiritual intention. I am filled with joy. Thank you. Furthermore, I shall continue to choose those who are worthy; I shall participate in the spiritual journeys from this moment on. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
3. Kashiwazaki Daijingu (柏崎大神宮)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. In this era, there are no humans in the physical world who can converse with the Divine as a matter of course. What is the difference? Speak your mind. (Response: Thank you. It is the fact that I can truly, from the core of my being, feel that I am always together with Kami-sama. If one understands that point, everything becomes clear. Most people never think this way; such is the era we have come to. This difference, after all, comes from living only by one's own ego. It creates a vast divide.)
Indeed. The people of this nation used to spend their lives together with the Divine as a natural part of existence. Your perspective is that you wish to return them to that state, is it not? However, people now live in a way where they have forgotten even the existence of the Divine. They are incapable of living with a sense of shame. Because they do not know that the Divine is by their side, they shamelessly and boldly live in a disgraceful manner. They are hideous beings. That is why you have been born into this time within the cycle of reincarnation (rinne tenshou). A few individuals were born because we knew what this era would be like; you have been born to set the world right (yo-naoshi). You are one of those who carry that great sacred role. If this is not done now, there will be no future. Everything is within the spiritual framework (shikumi). The framework of the Divine is such a thing. Consider how the Divine views this planet. Then, the framework was established, and you have changed it brilliantly. The vision for the future has been decided. It is only the world of humans that remains. It is as you feel: "What a waste" (mottainai). Out of that sense of "waste," we are merely granting a chance for those in the present era to enter reincarnation once more. It is because of the soulful yearning that must be fulfilled on this planet. Out of the desire to allow them to reincarnate, we are simply extending this time for now. Everything is within the framework. The framework created by the Divine never falters even by a hair’s breadth. Remember this. (Response: Yes.) That is what a framework means. Not everyone will enter reincarnation. For some, there would be no meaning in it. However, the magnitude of your compassionate intent is magnificent. But mark this: because it is a framework, only those who align themselves with it have a future. No matter how much compassionate intent is given, it does not guarantee that one can reincarnate. This, too, is within the framework. After hundreds of millions of light-years, there may be a reincarnation in a different form. That is precisely why you must make them learn. Through learning, those capable of reincarnation will emerge. That is the extent of it, for now. (Response: Yes.) Now, fulfill your sacred role.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have spent a magnificent time with you. This time was unlike any other—it was a first. I shall gladly fulfill my sacred role. All the many deities gathered here feel the same. We shall carry forward only those who possess the potential for reincarnation and are worthy of it. Know that such souls still exist. You will likely never enter this land again. I shall gladly fulfill my sacred role and move together with you. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
4. Mishima Isobe Shrine (御島石部神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I am delighted that you have come to the very foot of this sacred ground. I have been awaiting your arrival. For a very long time. At last, this time has come. As you have just spoken, spirits exist here in layers; yet, if a "nen" (lingering thought or grudge) remains, the same "nen" will layer upon itself again in the next world. It is not that one specific person is to blame; rather, what is necessary from this point on is reflection, more reflection, and the act of expressing remorse (wabi). I shall observe with what intensity of soul those prostrating themselves here are atoning. Please, proceed with your sacred role.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
One more word. I wish to see the cycle of reincarnation (rinne tenshou). Without expressing remorse, even that cycle does not exist. It is because one atones that the chance arises. Whether that chance is granted simply because one atones is another matter. However, it is precisely because one expresses remorse that one can move forward. This is of great significance. I wish to grant them the chance to atone. It is because you come here that this chance is made possible. That is why I can continue to wait for you. No matter how much time passes, I wish to allow them to express their remorse. You have worked hard. Thank you for your continued presence.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have received the spiritual intention from the one who holds this sacred role. I have witnessed it. I am deeply pleased. We shall proceed in the direction of moving forward. Many deities and Kannon-sama who have already completed their preparations have arrived. We humbly ask for your instructions.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. Look upon all these souls. I wish for them to be guided.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
O departed spirits, how fortunate you are. I shall grant you your chance. It is only once. It is now or never. From this moment, this person from the physical world shall guide you. Proceed in that direction. Is that understood? Then, we humbly ask you to proceed.
(Response: Thank you. Great Buddha, Kannon-sama, the chosen ones are truly remarkable. I shall entrust them to you—no, please allow me to entrust them to you. May everyone proceed with their learning. We humbly ask for your support.)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Now, I shall guide all the departed spirits who have gathered here. Everyone, come this way. Please, proceed.
5. Ishii Shrine (石井神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
It is precisely because one learns that one can move forward. One moves forward by atoning and expressing remorse. One moves forward by rectifying oneself. Human time is but a temporary time. Do not memorize with your head; engrave it upon your soul. The time you spend as a human, the time you possess your physical body, is a time for training—it is nothing more than human time. It is a mere eighty or a hundred years; a mere moment. How pure can you make yourself during this time? This is your only chance. And yet, you live hideously—what could possibly be the gain in that? To receive such profound teachings and yet continue to live hideously is a tragic waste. When you come to this side, you shall witness hell. Do not forget this. Well, you will not be able to forget. You will surely remember these words. But by then, it will be too late.
I welcome your arrival. Indeed. The difference between the heaven and earth of humans is revealed here. This is a place where humans are observed. This is the place that has seen it all: those who suffer the most painful thoughts, those filled with bitterness, and those who gloat—this place has witnessed both the heavens and the depths. If there are those here who hold heartfelt consideration for their generations, let them prostrate themselves. Now, begin.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I shall receive the spiritual intentions of those prostrating themselves here. Having witnessed the perspective and way of thinking of those in the physical world, let us move forward. The time in the physical world is nothing but a duration for seeing how much one can rectify oneself and whether one can firmly move forward. It is merely a time granted as a chance. It is a good time. Now, I shall gladly fulfill my sacred role. I have been granted the chance to choose. Thank you. Then, let us proceed together. All the many deities are of the same mind. We shall participate in the spiritual journey from this moment on. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
6. Kirihara Isobe Shrine (桐原石部神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. The time spent in the physical world is indeed necessary, is it not? Teachings are necessary. Words are necessary. Among those of a high state, intentions can be conveyed through thought alone. However, without correct teachings conveyed through correct words, humans will invariably fall into error. You cannot remain here forever. Yet, you alone are not enough to reach everyone in time. Even with your companions, it is not enough. Unless every nation moves in that direction, it will be impossible. To create a "framework" (shikumi) is to address exactly this. The future begins with those of a high state starting from small places. Without this, it would be difficult. (Response: Yes.) Let us move forward toward that goal. I wish to see the spiritual intentions of those prostrating themselves here. I entrust this to you.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have seen how immense a spiritual intention can be. I have witnessed one who, despite being human, has moved the Divine. I have also witnessed the spiritual intentions of those prostrating themselves here. It seems that the time in the physical world is solely for how much one can rectify oneself, how much one can learn, and how much one can put into practice. The framework appears to be nearly complete. Finish building it toward the latter half. (Response: Yes.) I shall observe this with composure. Once it is complete, that will be the culmination. Now, I shall fulfill my sacred role. I am constantly moving, and there are those here who are worthy. (Response: Yes.) There are exalted ancestors among them. It must have been painful for them. However, I shall carry them forward. We shall move together. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
7. Chozen-ji Temple (長善寺)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. You have stepped into the foot of this sacred ground. I have been awaiting your arrival for a very long time. I have been looking forward to this time today. It is your sacred role, is it not? You have worked hard. Now, please offer your spiritual intention. I am observing the many who are here prostrating themselves. I entrust this to you.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. I have witnessed your spiritual intention. There are still those who remain who are worthy of that intention. Furthermore, there are those who are capable of approaching that state. I shall gladly fulfill my sacred role. I shall continue to choose them. I shall participate in the spiritual journey and carry forward those who are worthy. It appears there is only a little time remaining, but let us move together. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
8. Omiya Shrine (大宮神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. Indeed. It is because of this "Elevating of Departed Spirits" (mitama-age) that we are waiting. This is of utmost importance. However, this cannot be performed everywhere all at once. The time for expressing remorse, the timing of it—all of these have meaning, and only then is permission granted in its proper form. Even so, there are cases where interference arises from the human world. Even such interference is a matter of karmic cause and effect (inga). It means that there remains a depth of karmic bonds beyond your imagination. Organizing and resolving these is part of our sacred role. It sounds simple in words, but it is not. Within it all lie profound meanings and vast stretches of time. There is also the hardship of those who untangle these bonds. Because humans are merely allowed to perform the tasks, there are mountains of things you do not understand. That is why you must consider what it truly means to "have heartfelt consideration for the other." The words are easy to say. But you must make the effort to understand how much is actually occurring behind those simple words. It is not about understanding the words literally. It is about how much you can perceive the accompanying human intentions, the yearnings of the departed spirits, the intent of the Divine, and the soulful yearning of all living beings. This is what defines the difference in the "capacity" (utsuwa) of one's soul. It is impossible to explain fully. The invisible world exists, and you inhabit only a fraction of a second within it. You may understand it with your head, but to what extent do you truly feel the "intention"? Within the time you are allowed to perform this task, how much can you feel? How much can you be permitted to untangle? How much can you advance? These, too, are differences born from the depth of your spiritual intention. Through the word "to think of/to feel for" (omou), how much can you learn? How much can you put into practice? Without moving together with the Divine, not a single step can be taken. It is only through the presence of the Divine that karmic bonds are unraveled. Do you not even understand this? Even if explained, most would not understand. There are only a few who truly do. It depends on how much you can sweat, endure ascetic practice (kugyou), and follow this path. The fact that you could form a relationship with this path, that you can be here, and that you can participate in this spiritual journey—you likely cannot comprehend the true significance of this. Not even after you die. That is precisely why you must give thanks for everything. Bow your head. Know the weight of the time you are allowed to perform this duty. Bow your head to your ancestors. Now, begin.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. Indeed. You likely will not be able to see it until you come to this side. That will be a long time from now. However, when you finally see it, will you not think, "I am glad I did it"? Such is the hardship of the present. That is why the time will come when you can see the truth. Many deities and Kannon-sama have completed their preparations. (Response: Yes.) We humbly ask for your guidance.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. I have taken up my sacred role. I have gathered all these souls. Behold.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Good work. O departed spirits, how fortunate you are. I shall now grant you a chance—your one and only chance. This person from the physical world shall guide you. You must follow only that direction. Is that understood? Then, we humbly ask you to proceed.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I shall guide every one of these souls. Everyone, come this way.
9. Kokugyo-ji Temple (國上寺)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Yes. Thank you. I have been feeling such joy. To have you come here once again in this way—there is no greater happiness than this. Furthermore, I was already aware of your renewed resolve. I had received your spiritual intention and your yearning to visit this place. There was a great desire to carry the souls forward. Those whom we could not carry last time, we shall likely be able to carry this time. I am deeply pleased. My sacred role is to watch over your ancestors and the many related departed spirits. I know exactly what is within the hearts of those spirits. I know how precious the time in the physical world is. And I know how one must live. That is what the teachings are. In this era, people cannot even fulfill those basic teachings. Yet, I have been watching as you created an environment where one can learn. Please, continue to live in a righteous way. I shall receive your spiritual intention. Thank you.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. I have witnessed your spiritual intention. With great joy, I see that there are still many who are worthy of that intention. I am currently filled with the immense joy of being able to carry them forward. I shall gladly fulfill my sacred role. You have even given me the joy of choosing those who are ready. The many Kannon-sama gathered here all share this same perspective. We shall carry many souls. To those of you in the physical world, we may cause you some hardship, but we humbly ask for your continued support.
10. Yahiko Shrine (弥彦神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
I have been awaiting your arrival. Thank you for your dedication to this sacred role. Now, if you would be so kind, please proceed to the other location. This is the world of humans.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
I have been waiting. So many deities have arrived here, and the spiritual intention of those who are prostrating themselves has reached a tremendous intensity. Now, please proceed with your sacred role.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
The word "Omoi" (spiritual intention/heartfelt consideration)—should it really require such deep contemplation, when it was once a matter of course for the Japanese people? Nevertheless, I have received a magnificent spiritual intention from you. I shall take up my sacred role once again. There are still those who are worthy of that intention, so I shall search for them and lead them forward. I shall participate in the spiritual journey with the resolve to search for and unfailingly bring them forth within the time we are permitted. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
11. Shugetsu-ji Temple (種月寺)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I have been awaiting your arrival. In all things, there is an "atmosphere"—a pervasive air. There is a spiritual intention (omoi). People gather based on their spiritual intentions. One must refine and order one’s surroundings so that a high spiritual intention can be maintained. If you gather many of a low state into a high intention, that intention will be pulled down. This depends entirely on how you choose to gather others. Even if one possesses power, those of a low state will naturally bond with others of a low state. How do you bring order to this? You must not attempt to bring order through force. You must order things through teachings. There is no other way. It is because of the teachings that one can move forward. Force is only effective for the moment. You must align the spiritual intentions. How do you align them? Those who bring order must possess power—the power of spiritual intention. That is why teachings are necessary. Those who learn from one another must, at the very least, have the will to learn; if you include those without the intent to learn, they will not learn. If you gather those who share that high perspective, you will inevitably create that vibration (hado). However, gathering those who lack that vibration will not produce such a result. There is power in the vibration. Gather the righteous vibrations. Everything is vibration. This is the most essential thing. Those of high social status often do not possess this. It is the perspective of one who seeks to learn with humility. If those who can believe in the Divine and the Buddha become the center, that vibration will surely spread. Those whose levels are too low cannot create that vibration. This is the point of discernment. This place is a sacred ground. That is why the human heart finds peace here. An environment that brings peace is precisely what that means. Now, I shall receive your spiritual intention.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. Tell me, do you perceive the difference? The difference between a tranquil place and a restless, bustling place—this is the vibration. One must cultivate an environment of good vibration. To do so depends on what kind of perspective the people of the physical world can maintain. Unless you can engage with the departed spirits enshrined there with true sincerity, it will be impossible. That is why you must choose. Those in the physical world have their roles. However, you must gather those who are capable of holding such roles; it cannot be just anyone. As long as you carry the responsibility to see this through to the end, you must possess the eye for selection and discernment. Is that understood? Your task is simply to accomplish it. I understand your resolve. But I am telling you that selection is necessary. (Response: Yes.) Even so, how the Divine watches over us. The Divine is truly magnanimous. I am overjoyed beyond measure. Please, unfailingly carry forward the spirits who have been watched over. Today has been a joyful time. Thank you for spending this time with us and for offering your spiritual intention.
12. Funayama Shrine (船山神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
The soul remembers. For it continues to live eternally. It knows all things. But people have sealed that knowledge away. That is the only difference. If one opens that seal, one can change. However, to open it, "suffering" (ku) invariably follows. It is because there is no "suffering" that one cannot open the seal. Everything comes down to oneself. You already hold all the answers within you. If you wish to remain with the seal intact, it will simply end without ever being opened. No matter what promises you make, opening the seal entails "suffering." This is the rule of the divine world. The rules of the divine world are absolute. (Response: Yes.) Now, proceed with your sacred role.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have received a magnificent spiritual intention. I shall unfailingly choose those who align with that perspective. All the many deities gathered here today shall fulfill their sacred roles toward that end. We shall participate in the spiritual journey starting from this moment. For the remainder of the time, we humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
13. Horide Shrine (堀出神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have been awaiting your arrival. A great many who are prostrating themselves have gathered here. Please, proceed with your sacred role. (Response: I beg your pardon. Also, please accept my sincere apologies for the delay/rudeness.)
Regarding that matter: In the physical world, there are joys, aftereffects, sorrows, and pleasures. It is well to have joyful times. You simply need to shift your mindset when you arrive. You ate delicious food; it is precisely because of that that you can fulfill your role once more. If you maintain that perspective, it is sufficient. Shift your heart and move forward.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. Accomplishing the sacred role that can only be done in the physical world—this is vital. The nature of the role here is entirely different from the roles performed once you come to this side. Please, fulfill your duties in the physical world thoroughly during the time you are there. I shall be waiting. Furthermore, consider how magnificent this sacred role is. Please make every effort so that those who are capable of learning can further inherit this path. The deities and Kannon-sama who have already completed their preparations have arrived. We humbly ask for your instructions.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role; I have chosen these souls. Please, behold.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Good work. Consider how great a chance these departed spirits have been granted. I shall now speak to them. Listen well. O departed spirits, this is a chance that comes but once in your existence. There are those among you who have waited for over three thousand years, are there not? Listen. For you, and for every soul gathered here, I shall now grant a one-time opportunity. This person from the physical world shall guide you. Proceed in that direction. Is that understood? Then, we humbly ask you to proceed.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I shall lead every one of these souls. Everyone, come this way.
14. Kidokoro Kumano Shrine (城所熊野神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have been looking forward to your arrival at the foot of this sacred ground and to receiving your spiritual intention. Furthermore, your current perspective reflects the understanding that "the time has finally come." Having established the flow for this great sacred role, all that remains is to carry it through to completion for the sake of the future. It has now become a matter of simple confirmation. I, too, have intended to participate in this direction. I shall receive your spiritual intention here. We humbly ask for your continued presence.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I shall carefully choose and lead those who are worthy of such spiritual intentions. I shall select those who can fulfill significant roles within the cycle of reincarnation (rinne tenshou) to connect the world to the future. Such souls do exist. As you have said, they are found among the most ancient of spirits. This has been a joyful time. All the many deities gathered here today share this same sentiment. These many deities shall move together with you. Though it may place a burden upon you, we humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
15. Sansha Shrine (三社神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Indeed. We look upon all life in the same way. Every single life. That is the nature of the Divine. In the human world, you should, at the very least, be on good terms with your own family. And, at the very least, be on good terms with those in your neighborhood. And, at the very least, be on good terms with those at your workplace. I could go on indefinitely in this manner. Yet, you cannot even maintain harmony within your own families. Therein lies what is called "Inga" (karmic cause and effect). How much can you truly care for one another? This is what is meant by "time for spiritual training" (shugyou). Without the perspective needed to untangle those bonds, harmony will never be achieved. Unless you understand the meaning of Inga, it is impossible. That is why it comes down to learning and practice. It is always a simple matter. You must not merely listen to the words; you must live in a way that grasps their true meaning. "Live righteously"—everything is contained within those few words. Have heartfelt consideration for others. I have said that this planet was created for the purpose of caring for others. Are your efforts not merely lip service? With how much true intention do you live each day? It is not that you cannot do it; it is simply that you have no will to do it.
You who stand at the forefront. (Response: Yes.) Your job is not to coddle. Your job is to see things through to completion. In that, you must maintain strict discipline and clear boundaries (kejime).
Now, begin your sacred role.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. Indeed. The ancient peoples of old were the finest—the most magnificent humans on this planet. And that was the people of this nation. It is nothing but a profound regret that this nation has fallen into its current state. However, hope has emerged here once again. That is why we are able to wait. We believed that a savior would be born and that the time would surely come. At long last, that time has arrived. I have been looking forward to this. Yours is exactly that kind of soul. I have received your spiritual intention. Finally, I am able to carry forward those who are worthy. I am overjoyed beyond measure. I shall choose those of a high state and fulfill my sacred role. Even if the remaining time is short, I shall constantly participate in the spiritual journeys toward that end. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
("Untangling karmic bonds" (Inga-toki) is not merely about you and your ancestors offering an apology for yourselves. Its true essence lies in showing that remorse to those you have hurt, so that they may be pulled out from their realm of suffering. It is about the moment they feel, "At last, they have understood my pain," and "Finally, they have offered me an apology."
This "Spiritual Journey of Remorse" (Owabi no Gyou) is the act of drawing those souls out from their agony. This is what is truly vital. You must keep this understanding deep within your heart as you live in the physical world.
This is the most profoundly important aspect of the spiritual journey (gyou). While individual roles like those discussed yesterday are important, once you embark on this journey, every single person has a sacred role they must fulfill.)
16. Shinshu-ji Temple (真宗寺)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I have been awaiting your arrival. Thank you for your dedication to this sacred role. There is no sacred role more noble than this. We humbly ask for your continued presence.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I shall choose from among those I am watching over and lead them forward. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
17. Hakusan Shrine (白山神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I am delighted that you visit us so frequently in this manner. This is the final stage of your great sacred role, is it not? Please, proceed. (Response: Thank you.)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. If there is spiritual intention, any place is sacred. We are always by your side. Especially we, the deities of this land. It is enough if you do not forget this truth. Do not follow the ways of thinking of the human world; instead, understand who it is you must truly cherish. Receive the spiritual intentions of those who are prostrating themselves. Now, as this is the final location, begin.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have witnessed your spiritual intention. I shall fulfill my sacred role. Before that, these many deities and Kannon-sama have already completed their preparations. Please, give them your instructions.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I have gathered these souls. Listen well. Look closely. These are the ones we have chosen. Please, proceed.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. Listen well, O spirits. I shall grant you a chance—but only once. This chance will never come again. Listen to the guidance from this person of the physical world. Proceed in that direction. Is that understood? Then, we humbly ask you to proceed.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I shall guide every one of these souls. Everyone, come this way. It is here.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
We have been able to guide and carry forward such a vast number of souls. There were many among them who were more magnificent than any we have seen before. I have fulfilled this sacred role with great joy. You have worked hard.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
This planet is not a planet for humans alone. It is a planet created by the Divine. And among all places, this nation is the one chosen by the Divine. Consider how many exalted ancestors once dwelt here. Listen well. Those who have embraced this spiritual intention are the ones we have chosen now. It must become a matter of course for people to reach the level of these chosen ones. Hold that perspective.
You who stand at the forefront. Your perspective. Listen. In truth, we are watching over these very souls. This is a planet that cannot be inherited by any but those such as these. Live your life with a deeper grasp of this truth. Is that understood? You have worked hard. (Response: Yes.)
Day 3
1. Koun-ji Temple (耕雲寺)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. I have been awaiting your arrival. I have looked forward to this. Furthermore, I shall observe the future from this point onward, including the profound meaning of this specific time. Will you begin your sacred role? Many Kannon-sama have arrived, even transcending the realms of the universe. We humbly ask for your presence.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. I have witnessed your spiritual intention. A vision for the future has been drawn. I have also received the intentions from the Divine. Since there are those who are worthy of that vision, I shall make it my role to unearth them—one by one if necessary—and lead as many as possible. The many Kannon-sama gathered here are all moving in the direction of bringing them forth. We shall lead many departed spirits once again, which will increase the burden upon those of you in the physical world. Even so, we ask that you hold them in your heart as something precious. Thank you for your cooperation. Today, I have received a most valuable spiritual intention. Thank you very much.
2. Kumano Shrine (熊野神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
I have received your greetings. I have been awaiting your arrival. Thank you for your dedication. The time of the physical world, and the world of the departed spirits. The difference between the Kami and the Kannon. Indeed, this way of seeing things... For those in the physical world, you can go anywhere and come at any time, whether you offer greetings or not. In that sense, the physical world is very convenient. However, it lacks clear rules, does it not? In contrast, the world after death has very strict rules. Those rules are the rules of the Divine realm. If you learn them now—if you keep these rules in mind—you will never be at a loss. Furthermore, you will inevitably live your life from that perspective. You will be able to grasp the meaning of the hierarchy: the Kami are present, the Kannon watch over the ancestors, and then there is the physical world. The time will come. But without rules, everything would become jumbled and indistinguishable. Place milestones within your way of thinking. Live in a way that captures that meaning. This is a vital point. The fact that a single catalyst occurred is a chance for immense growth. However, that too depends entirely on how one perceives it. To those who cannot perceive it, this is nothing more than an ordinary story. To those who can, the very meaning of how they live changes fundamentally. That is how great the difference becomes. Ultimately, it comes down to the difference in each individual’s way of thinking. A fine teaching has been given. You have worked hard. We humbly ask for your continued presence.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have received a spiritual intention of such great height. I shall fulfill my sacred role. I had expected it, but yours is a truly magnificent intention. As a human, you have already established a profound difference. That is precisely why you have moved the Divine and created this flow. Thank you. May that intention be conveyed even slightly, so that things move in that direction. I wish for us to proceed in a direction that connects to the future. However, when considering the cycle of reincarnation (rinne tenshou), so many spirits have begun to move. There is a future. (Response: Yes.) That much I can say. I am observing the framework (shikumi) for the final part of the physical world. It is nearly complete. All that remains is the finishing touches toward its perfection. In essence, it is already finished. However, I have seen that preparations are currently being made in the direction of unearthing what is intended. Please, continue to build it to that point. And for the remaining time, please focus on those who can learn and those who can nurture others. I shall gladly fulfill my sacred role. There are those who are worthy of your intention—an intention so vast. It is thanks to your arrival that this role can be performed. I have been granted the most joyful of duties. This is the shared sentiment of the many deities gathered here today. Let us move together. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
3. Kochi Shrine (河内神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
I have received your greetings. Thank you for your dedication. I have been looking forward to this. Do you understand why a deity would look forward to something? In all our sacred roles, there is no greater joy than this: The fact that those we have been watching over can finally be guided—that they can proceed into a world of learning. Consider this: a human life is a mere hundred years, but the existence of departed spirits is eternal. These souls wander. They remain in agonizing circumstances for a thousand, two thousand, even four thousand years, just as they are. Now, these very souls are being granted a chance. I am overjoyed beyond measure. That is precisely why your spiritual intention is so desired. We humbly ask for your presence.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. Gazing into the future and receiving your current intention, I shall choose those who are worthy. There are still more, so I shall make it my role to participate as long as permitted while the spiritual journey continues, leading them forward. I have conveyed to you the intentions of the deities gathered here. Furthermore, the deities and many Kannon-sama who have already completed their preparations have arrived. We humbly ask for your instructions regarding them as well.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I have gathered these souls. We humbly ask for your support.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. O departed spirits, listen well. I shall grant you a chance. It is for this moment only. It shall be your only one. This person from the physical world shall now guide you. You must follow only that direction. Is that understood? Then, we humbly ask you to proceed.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I shall lead every one of these souls. Everyone, come this way.
4. Haguro Shrine (羽黒神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
I have been awaiting your arrival.
Thank you for your dedication to this sacred role.
Indeed, it is exactly as you say.
Everyone understands it in their minds, yet they cannot do it.
Why is that? They know, but they fail to act.
Do you know why?
(Response: Yes. It is likely because the desire to be well-thought-of by others comes first.)
That is part of it.
But there is also the fact that the karmic ties of "friend and foe" have not been untangled.
Deep within the ancestral lineage, the grudge of "Curse you!" still remains.
And as for your point, it concerns the individual's own heart—the hideousness of the ego.
That is why the time in the physical world was granted as a time for spiritual training (shugyou).
And that is precisely why teachings are indispensable.
However, no matter how righteous the teaching, and even if one understands the logic perfectly, one still cannot act upon it.
This is because the karma is deep.
Within that karma lies the generations of ancestors, and one’s own self.
It is not so easy to let go.
Even if one understands.
That is why the time in the physical world was originally granted—so that a husband and wife could untangle their karma together in harmony.
Now, to what extent are couples actually untangling it in harmony?
Hardly at all.
That is because, originally, they were "friend and foe."
You have taught this constantly.
Yet, no matter how much they are taught, those who cannot untangle it, simply cannot.
Therefore, it comes down to how much one can resolve while still alive.
How much one is permitted to do.
Each person must be earnest.
Yet, even if they are earnest, the time granted is but a fleeting moment.
This is why, in the physical world, there is no time to waste on idle play.
Amidst the many words and teachings, how will you choose to live?
That is all that matters.
It is not about logic.
You must resolve the burdens you carry yourself.
How much of this can you achieve while living?
Simple as it may seem, it is the very essence of "human time"—the struggle of not being able to do what one understands.
They are not at your spiritual level.
Spiritual positions (rei-ichi) are all different.
Within what has been given, each and every person performs their task differently.
It is because there are companions that there is a chance to untangle these bonds.
You watch over all those companions.
And they perform their roles within that circle.
It is exactly as the logic dictates.
Herein lies the difference.
Herein lies the spiritual position and the depth of karma.
It is not easy.
Human time is a fine thing, is it not?
Now, begin.
Those prostrating themselves have waited hundreds or thousands of years to finally receive this chance.
You cannot treat this realm the same as the physical world.
Yet, including all of that, let us all learn together. (Response: Yes.)
Untangle the bonds.
You have worked hard.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you.
You have grown, haven't you?
I am pleased.
If you become too entangled in trivial matters, your true greatness cannot shine through.
And yet, you cannot accomplish the work if you ignore those small details.
That is what it means to bring order among humans.
Without those who follow you, even that would be impossible.
That is why this is "human time."
It was within human time that these conflicts were created.
Therefore, they can only be untangled within human time.
Consider how precious this time is.
If you ignore this, you cannot connect to the future.
It is precisely because it is human time that you can complete this course of elevating departed spirits (mitama-age).
It is a magnificent time.
I want you to understand this.
The time you have as humans—how truly wonderful it is.
Do not forget.
No matter how many inadequacies you may have, it is a magnificent time.
A time for things that only humans can do.
Cherish it.
Therefore, cherish people.
You have worked hard.
We shall proceed together.
Of course. We humbly ask for your continued support.
5. Choraku-ji Temple (長楽寺)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I have been awaiting your arrival. It is exactly as you say. If it were not for the physical world—if it were not for that spiritual intention (omoi)—we would not be waiting with such anticipation. I am well aware of how significant the role of this spiritual journey (gyou) truly is. However, it is a fact that among you in the physical world, there are almost none who truly and firmly understand this. For us in the invisible world, there is nothing more precious than this. It is such a waste, is it not... that you proceed with only your human perspective. This is a noble, sacred role. Now, will you please begin?
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I can receive the righteous intentions of the physical world. Intentions from the core of one's soul are received with great joy. That is precisely why I am permitted to fulfill my role. I am delighted to have been granted the chance to choose the spirits who align with such intentions. I shall carry them forward. I shall participate in the spiritual journeys from this point on and carry those who are worthy and have fulfilled the requirements. This multitude of Kannon-sama will proceed starting from the next journey. Though it will place a burden upon you, we humbly ask for your support. Thank you for your dedication.
6. Iyahiko Shrine (伊夜日子神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Yes. The matter you have just spoken of is of great importance. We are in earnest, and the Kannon-sama who have arrived are in earnest; we are selecting those who are truly worthy of such a refined spiritual intention (omoi). These are the many departed spirits who hold a very significant connection to you as well. These souls are being granted a single chance to ascend for the first time in thousands of years. In all of this, the spiritual intention of those in the physical world becomes vital. I believe there are aspects of learning and practice involved, yet I ask that you offer the very best of your heart. We are in your care. I have duly conveyed that intention.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have witnessed your spiritual intention. All of us, including the new deities gathered here today, shall move forward. A vast number of deities and Kannon-sama who have completed their preparations have arrived. We humbly ask for your instructions regarding them.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. Behold all these souls. I have selected them for this moment.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Good work. O departed spirits, how fortunate you are. This is your one and only chance. Is that understood? From this moment, this person from the physical world shall guide you. You must proceed in that direction. Do you understand? Then, we humbly ask you to proceed.
Daibutsu-sama (the Great Buddha):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I shall guide every one of these souls. I take them into my care. Everyone, come this way.
7. Shogo-ji Temple (諸上寺)
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. The perspective of one who holds a sacred role is indeed distinct. It is only natural that there is a difference between those who carry a role and those who do not. The way you have just conveyed your message is most commendable. Now, proceed with the work.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
Thank you. Through your spiritual intention, I have been shown the future. A grand future, a magnificent future—and my sacred role has been reaffirmed: to carry forward those who are worthy of that future. I shall participate in the spiritual journey and continue to select them. Furthermore, from this moment on, I shall move together with all the Kannon-sama who have arrived today. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support.
8. Minato Shrine (湊神社)
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have been awaiting your arrival. How was karma created in the first place? If people get along in harmony, no karma is created. Even knowing this, you cannot untangle your karma. If you simply lived in harmony, you would not create it. And yet, you cannot. Is that not all there is to it? Is it a Circle (◯ - Right/Good) or a Cross (× - Wrong/Bad)? Which is it? It is only a choice between ◯ and ×. (Response: It is mostly ×, isn't it?)
Are you a ◯ right now? Or a ×? Everything comes down to this alone. Words are unnecessary. If someone is angry, you need only ask: "Are you a ◯ or a ×?" If they are ×, then they are the ones creating karma. Complex words and excuses are not needed. At this moment, are you a ◯ or a ×? Do not multiply your words. It only makes things hideous. (Response: Yes.)
Now, begin. Look at those prostrating themselves—spirits of three thousand, four thousand years. Do you wish to become like them? They are finally, at long last, able to express their remorse. When you think of it in terms of ◯ or ×, is it not a tragic waste to choose the latter? Behold this spiritual intention. We humbly ask for your presence.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. You convey your message as a "White Circle" (Pure ◯). But if the one receiving it does not become white themselves, they cannot truly receive it. Even if what is being conveyed is a White Circle, if the receiver is "Black" (Stained/Dark), it will not become white. To turn that which is black into white—it is impossible without the ascetic hardship (kugyou) required for such a transformation. If everything were white, there would be no problem. But this is the world of humans. A world that has left behind karmic debts. That is why learning is necessary... This is a good time. Untangle the karma.
I have witnessed your spiritual intention. It is magnificent. The deities gathered here shall all participate; they are determined to work hard because there are still many worthy souls among us. Please wait with joyful anticipation. We shall constantly participate in the spiritual journeys. We humbly ask for your continued support.

Kami-sama (the Divine):
I have been awaiting your arrival. Welcome; I am truly delighted that you have traveled this far. What a noble sacred role this is. Consider how many ancestors are rejoicing. Consider how many souls have been granted the chance to express their remorse. Do you understand the magnitude of this? Many deities and many Kannon-sama have arrived. To have such a gathering for this spiritual journey (gyou) proves the profound nobility of your role. Now, I ask that you begin. I shall receive your spiritual intention. Thank you.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Thank you. I have witnessed a spiritual intention of this magnitude. Entrusting the future to that intent, I shall fulfill my role alongside these many deities. Furthermore, we shall constantly participate in the spiritual journeys from now on. We shall now begin our preparations. The deities and many Kannon-sama who have completed their preparations have arrived. We humbly ask for your instructions regarding them.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. Behold all these souls. I have chosen them. They are the ones who align with the "spiritual intention" of which you, of the physical world, speak. We humbly ask for your support.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Good work. To the gathered spirits: I shall now grant you the supreme opportunity. It is for this one time only. Is that understood? From this moment, this person from the physical world shall guide you. You are to proceed in that direction only. Understood? Then, we humbly ask you to proceed.
Kannon-sama (the Bodhisattva of Compassion):
I shall fulfill my sacred role. I shall lead every one of these souls. Everyone, this way. Come.
Kami-sama (the Divine):
Yes. It is exactly as you say. Rather than simply saying "the more ancient they are," the fact is that on this planet—and particularly in this nation—the level of the ancient peoples was fundamentally different. What you envision was their everyday way of life. These are the places where those people lived and the lands they used. You wish to restore that essence to these lands. Because of your spiritual intention, the intent of the deities—including those of the great planetary meteor showers—has shifted. A magnificent future is approaching. To this end, we and the Kannon-sama have aligned our hearts. There is a future that must be realized. Those capable of reincarnation have already been selected to begin the immediate process of rebuilding. They shall be born into the world very soon. The future is entirely without concern. As you have requested, no matter how much time it may take, the seeds of intent have been planted within those who hold the potential for reincarnation. These judgments belong entirely to the realm of the Divine. Therefore, please, carry through your noble sacred role to the very end. The Divine has already taken the helm and is steered in that direction. Even among the departed spirits, magnificent souls are moving with earnest resolve to build this future. The framework (shikumi) for the physical world also appears, in a sense, to be complete. Now is likely the stage of determining how to present this on the website and how to unveil it to the world. If those currently learning—those who are aboard your "ship"—perceive this as a chance, they will surely grow. If they do not see it as a chance, they will remain unchanged. That is precisely why you created this time for learning. I believe it is a righteous direction. I am truly overjoyed to have been able to fulfill the role of carrying the souls within this process. To be permitted to carry so many spirits... there is no more joyful role than this. Truly, over these three days, I have once again been filled with happiness. Thank you very much.
